What is paper tube packaging?
The paper tubes are rolled from 100% recycled kraft paper or white cardboard raw material. The machine glues 3 or 5 layers of paper together and rolls them through a metal die that can be customized for length and diameter. Our workers will trim the paper tubes to your required size and then paste the printed paper on the outside. And the paper tubes are cut into caps and bottoms. Meanwhile, the thinner cylinder tube is inserted into the bottom to fix the lid.
Why use paper tube packaging? What advantages does it have?
It can be reused and recycled. Flexible and strong. These cardboard cylinders are made of durable cardboard made of strong kraft paper with 2 mm thick indestructible walls that resist compression and will not deform. On the one hand, they can be used for shipping or mailing and can protect the contents during transport. On the other hand, it is ideal for packaging small glass bottles such as hemp oil, CBD oil, vape, and cosmetic oils. In addition, the cylindrical tube can hold non-collapsible items such as artwork, maps, posters, academic and land certificates, etc.

What are the common classifications of paper tube packaging?
The cylinder structure style has four kinds of competent structure, which consists of three pieces and two pieces to form the cylinder bundle. They are adjustable in length from the outer base, inner neck to the top cover.
A. 3-piece paper tube packaging structure
This paper tube has 3 parts: lid, bottom, and inner tube. The bottom part has 2 layers. The collar you see is made of a thinner paper tube that is longer than the body of the tube and is glued to the body of the tube. This collar is shorter and you can also customize the bottom to be shorter than the collar. If so, it can save a lot of inner tube material.
A 2-piece paper tube packaging structure
The 2-piece structure has only 2 parts, including the lid and the bottom. Usually, the bottom part is slightly longer than the top cap to allow easy lifting as shown below. Unlike the 3-piece paper tube structure style, it saves material. Then the weight will be a little less than the 2-piece structure. And it can show the bottom part of the body to make it look good.
Different opening edge treatment styles:
There are two different treatments for the opening edge of cylinder tube packaging. The one has a round rolled edge and another edge is a smoothly cut opening without a rolled edge.
Human beings probably like the round tube with a round rolled edge not only it looks neater and cleaner. but also the round mouth of the tube with rolled edges will not be scratched off by the cap.卷
If without rolled edges, which have the same width of diameter from the opening to the bottom, it is suitable for storage bottles that do not have extra space inside and will not cause shaking during shipping. More importantly, when packaging for custom cardboard tubes you need to pay more attention to whether the opening treatment of the package is suitable for your product or not.不卷
